Mission: To welcome each person who enters through our doors with a Spirit of love and compassion.
We are called the "door keepers" or "watchers", and have the privilege of making the first and last impression on a person who walks into the sanctuary. We can ease a visitor's transition from an uneasy curiosity to security and enjoyment. This is just one of the primary goals of the Usher's Ministry.
Matthew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
ESBC is partners with Missions to Africa and the World. Our vision is to reach people in Africaand the world for Jesus Christ; in fulfillment of the Great Commission, Matthew 28:19-20. Every two years our church participates in going to Abia State Nigeria. There we support and minister to the underserved people in the rural area. We provide clothes, rice, Bibles and personal hygiene items.
A large part of our ministry is spent with the widows and orphans. 105 bags of rice are distributed through out the villages.
We equip ministers in the poor areas and villages with Biblical materials. We also set up Pastors conferences and workshops to prepare them to better educate and teach their members.
The lack of medical care is a problem. They only have a few medical stations where they can receive treatment. We carry medicine and medical supplies with us and we have doctors from the hospitals in Abia State that go out with us to the villages and rural areas and treat as many patients as they can in two days.
This is a great work that we do but more can and must be done. If you have a desire to become involved in missionary work in Africa or supporting this great work please contact Pastor Simpson at Tel. 615-818-9191 or email us at: email@example.com
The Evangelism Ministry is an outreach ministry, reaching and bringing souls into the kingdom of God.
"Go Ye therefore, teach all nations, baptizing then in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." Amen
To make known that evangelism is a lifestyle.
To present the reality and genuineness of the gospel of Jesus Christ; inspiring believers and non believers by our actions, conduct and love leading each into a genuine and fulfilling relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior.

Tennessee Prison For Women Annex
The Eighth Street Outreach Prison Ministry was organized December 1996. It started with a one-on-one volunteer from January 1997 - October 1999. The inmate made a request for more members to come and share the word with other inmates as a group. Thirty names were approved by the chaplain to be allowed to have Christian worship service quarterly. The first Christian worship service was held June 20, 1997. The pastor and twenty-two members attended that service. What a joy it was to witness and hear the prayers, testimonies, praises, and songs of the inmates.
It has been a blessing for the Outreach Prison Ministry to lift up the name of Jesus and give encouraging words to the inmates. This outreach ministry has fulfilled the hunger for the word of God for those that are incarcerated. Because of our visits, the word shared in preaching, singing, prayers, testimonies, and praises, lives have been touched and souls have been saved.
